Ok, I have wanted a Kitchenaid Stand Mixer for a long, long, long time! As long as I can remember! Do I bake? No! But that is because I haven’t had a Kitchenaid Stand Mixer!
While we were in Cannon Beach over the weekend, I told Matt I wanted to stop by the Outlet Mall in Seaside to see the Kitchen Connection store. While I was in their oooing and aawwwing over the beautiful mixers, I saw a sign that stated the mixers were refurbished.

I read an article once that said if you are wanting to save money, you should buy refurbished. Which I believe to be true! I bought our refurbished Dyson Animal for $199 when It was selling for $399 and it works perfectly.
Buttercup, who is a KitchenAid Professional 600 6Qt Stand Mixer, has a suggested retail brand new of $499.99. I found refurbished Buttercup for $249.99. That is a steal. Although, there is only a 6 month warrenty on the mixer, I am sure she will be worth every penny.
What are my plans for Buttercup? We are going to make some heavenly bread recipes together. I can’t wait! Now… I just need to find some really tasty bread recipes. Do you know of any? :)
